SW Locums have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join the Family Safeguarding teams in Sedgemoor. You’ll be working alongside adult-focussed practitioners who can offer help with substance misuse, domestic abuse and mental health, as part of the Family Safeguarding model. You’ll be supporting families through Child In Need plans, Child Protection Plans, and in legal proceedings.
The Team are well established and support you to be the innovative and creative social worker you want to be – undertaking direct work with children and young people to hear their voice and understand their experiences. You will work with parents and the wider family network, with access to Family Group Conferencing, to support them to identify strengths, tackle problems and change interactions and behaviours. With skilled Team Managers, you’ll be well supported with regular and reflective group and personal supervision.
All Applicants must have right to work in the UK and have at least 3 years UK experience in a similar statutory setting.
Social Work England registration is a Mandatory requirement for this role.
