SW Locums are looking for a UK Experienced social workers who have an interest in or experience of working with disabled children and young people are encouraged to apply for the opportunity to work in this developing service area in a supportive and friendly team.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills, a proven ability in multi-agency working and a passion for enabling disabled children and young people to achieve their potential.

Job brief :

• covering the key tasks to be completed in 3-6 months
• Service users aged 0-18
• Carry out direct work with children and their families in order to meet their assessed needs, by ensuring the most cost-effective and beneficial care package is established, delivered and monitored
• Handled CP cases
• Give evidence in court
• Writing court reports
• Conducting assessments and care planning in accordance with government and local guidance for children in need, looked after children, child protection and children leaving care.
