SW Locums are looking for a Social Work Group Manager to work in the 0-25 Disability Team. The candidate must have extensive UK post qualification experience in a similar setting. You must have been qualified for more than 5 years.
You will be required to be competent in all areas of the PCF at Social Worker level and The Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for approved child and family practitioners.
Candidates will be expected to capably manage a caseload within a framework of appropriate reflective supervision, undertaking focused, analytical assessments, SMART plans and reviews that have clear objectives and outcome measures in order to ensure that all vulnerable children and young adults with disabilities receive a service that reflects the Council’s commitment to child and adult safeguarding and meaningful transition into young adulthood.
You will need to demonstrate and model good practice that reflects a commitment to relationship- and strengths-based practice, working collaboratively with disabled children, young adults and their families.
Candidates working towards Practice Educator (Stage 1 and 2) will be preferred.
