SW Locums are looking to appoint several experienced social workers for their vibrant teams in Swindon.

The allocated Social Worker to complete assessments for children in need, including those in need of protection, children looked after, those subject to public care proceedings and, where directed by the Court, children subject to private law proceedings.

The Children Looked After Team work with children who are under 16 years old and have a care plan of long term foster care. Children transfer into the team after care proceedings conclude and they remain with us until they’re sixteen. We have manageable caseloads of between 14 and 16 children for a full time worker. This role requires a social worker who has experience of working with children who are long term looked after.

Market beating rates, up to £40 per hour.

You MUST have at least 1 year’s experience in a similar setting and be registered with Social Work England.
