SW Locums are searching for reliable and UK Experienced Housing Officers to work in two roles in Redbridge One at Team Manager level and one at Service Manager level. The role is to effectively manage Rough Sleepers and Pathways.

You must have had a minimum of two years UK experience in a similar role within a housing setting.

You must hold UK Right to work.

You will have to have knowledge on hoe to effectively manage day to day operations of supported accommodation for single people with complex needs.

Including but not limited to:

  • Those with Mental Health problems
  • Substances misuse issues and other secondary support needs.


  • Your job is to ensure there a safe secure psychologically informed environment to enable vulnerable resident to thrive.
  • You will be required to support the Service manager in the implementation and delivery of service monitoring and development and to contribute to the strategic direction of the service.
  • To provide excellent leadership of complex support workers to ensure that thorough up to date support and move on plans are in place.
  • Ensure that the team supports vulnerable residents through effective joint working with support services and referrals for support as required.
  • Ensure that prompt action is taken to safeguard residents in line with relevant procedures.
  • Ensure that safeguarding concerns raised by other services are fully investigated and appropriate action is taken.
  • Ensure staff are effectively managed in accordance with LBR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that capability, disciplinary, sickness and absence matters are managed in line with relevant procedures and any formal actions are progressed in partnership with People Services.
