Social Worker Southwark SW9447

SW Locums are looking for a highly experienced Social Worker who is formally trained to undertake compliant age assessments to join an established UASC team. The candidate will work with with Looked After Children (16 and 17 years old) and Care Leavers (aged over 18).

You will have extensive UK experience with this cohort, be passionate about their outcomes and be able to deliver 100% on your key Performance Indicators / timely recording.
The Team is lead by an experienced Team Manager with a clinician attached to the team.

The unaccompanied asylum seeking children’s team provide a rapid response to children and young people experience significant change and trauma. The team’s purpose is to undertake age assessments that are compliant, and provide a looked after service.

Looked after children are visited with a personalised approach to ensure high quality care
Reviews are undertaken with pathway plans
Age assessments are allocated to compliant trained social worker, therefore, applicants MUST have previous experience undertaking age assessments.
