Social Worker LAC Knowsley SW6637

SW Locums are seeking three qualified social workers to work within the LAC team for a minimum of 6 months. All Applicants must retain right to work in the UK, Social Work England Registration and a current Enhanced DBS.

Description:

• Looked After Children up to age 14
• Cared for Children Permanency planning and court proceedings from the first hearing only – 3 sets of proceedings only
• Support as we would for any permanent member of staff, via training and supervision (including Signs Of Safety training)
• FREE Parking
• Permanent Team Manager Group within CLA
• Full IT to a high standard
• Hybrid working – 2 days in the office
• Support services in Knowsley including however, not extensive: Family Group Conference, Edge of Care intensive support, Family Support, CE specialist Teams, MASH that is well established, Fully functional Early Help Offer and MST
• Robust senior leadership support from visible leaders
• Recently audited by peers and received high praise in relation to PLO and actions that the LA take to safeguard
• Engaging and proactive support from our legal services
• All Social Care including IRO and Fostering are based in one location
• Ofsted focused visit completed following last years inspection and noted to be improving as a LA
