SW Locums are looking to recruit the services of an accomplished Social Work Team Manager for Stroud 11-25. All applicants need to have a substantial amount of UK experience in a similar statutory setting.
This team works with Children in Care aged 11+ and care leavers, ensuring we are providing permanency planning and supporting stability of placements of children in care, as well as supporting their transition out of care.
Gloucestershire County Council are committed to ensuring our agency Social Workers are supported to carry out their roles, so the expenses package for accommodation and/or mileage up to £150 per week remains in place.
Candidates must have strong management skills and understand this area of the business, providing clear management oversight, case supervision and quality assurance. Home working opportunities will be available in accordance with the ‘Return to Office Plan’.
The plan going forward is to embrace a hybrid model of working and this will include both working at home and office.
There is expectation that children are seen face to face and that the worker will attend the office on their allocated duty days, team days and 1:1 supervision.
