Description:
SW Locums are looking for a focused and UK Experienced, Social Work Team Manager holding Social Work England Registration to work in the Adult Learning Disability Team in Cardiff.
Hours will be Monday- Friday, 37 hours a week, will be required to work 2 days in the office, the rest can be done remotely.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma in Social Work or equivalent.
- Minimum of fours years post qualifying experience in adult social work setting.
- Good level of experience of work with adults with Learning Disabilities.
- Experience of staff supervision.
- Ability to lead and motive a team.
- Ability to organise self and others in order to prioritise work and achieve targets.
- Able to demonstrate self motivation and an ability to work on own initiate with minimal supervision within agreed parameters.
- Ability to demonstrate awareness/ understanding of equal opportunities.
- Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health and safety. Able to apply it effectively to both staff and service users.
- Comprehensive understanding of all legislation, technical mattes and standards of practice relevant to area of work.
- Understanding of, and the ability to work within, policies and procedures relating to Adult/Child safeguarding.
- Understanding of the importance of the management of information in the monitoring, planning and review of services.
- Must possess a full driving licence and the use of a car.
